First Things First has implemented a program of temporary Emergency Scholarships to help families pay for child care for a four month period beginning April 1. It is for families with children from birth to five who are not receiving DES childcare but are below 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines. The Sycamore School has been granted several scholarships and up to 10,000 children are expected to participate statewide.
