The 2009 School Age Summer Camp operates from Friday, May 21 through Tuesday, August 11. Children who are entering first grade through the summer after the sixth grade are welcome. Camp program hours are 8:00 AM through 4:00 PM with surround care available from 5:30 AM to 6:00 PM. The camp activity fee is $10.00 per week plus regular child care fees. Family discounts are available.
Our goal for the camp is to provide a safe, fun and educational experience for all. Registration is limited so sign up early to reserve a place for your child. If your child is not already attending Sycamore School, stop by for a tour of the school age facilities.
Our weekly camp schedule typically includes swimming at the Escalante Center in Tempe, or Tempe Town Lake Splash Park, on-site activities and field trips. At-school activities include crafts, sports, science, games, cooking, computers, planting and more. We are working on the plans for this year and are excited that we will be able to use the new METRO light rail to reach some of our favorite destinations.
